1. How easy is it to access from the airport?
We recommend staying at a hotel that you can easily access from the airport when visiting Japan for the first time. You can reach the hotel easily with no stress.

2. Does the staff speak English?
The staff in major hotels, including business hotels, can speak English very well. You don’t have to worry much about this.

3. How convenient is it to a train station?
Most of the major hotels are near a train station, so it is very convenient to stay there since you can use trains to get around the city. However, some hotels that are inexpensive may be located a little bit too far from a train station. If you have to walk more than 15 minutes to a station, it can be too inconvenient, especially during the heat and humidity of Tokyo’s summer. So, choosing a hotel within easy walking distance of a train station is a wise choice.

4. Is breakfast included?
Some business hotels include ALL YOU CAN EAT BREAKFAST. It is totally free and it is NOT like the typical American continental breakfast with thin sliced bread and cheap coffee. 5. Is AirBnB the best choice?
If you are visiting Japan for the first time, we do not recommend that you stay at an AirBnB accommodation. The reasons are that it is hard to find a good place to stay, there is no concierge who can speak English, and you have to be very patient and try to understand the owner’s strange English. Besides, Japanese government gives the AirBnB owners strict requirements, and AirBnB accommodations that are not certified by Japanese government are defined as illegal.
